Journey is a fictitious app that straddles wellbeing, mindfulness on the internet and disconnecting from being ‘online’. Its aim is to not demonise technology, but rather to use technology (aka your very own phone), to show that one is able to disconnect from the gripes of everyday social media while simultaneously learning how to be mindful while online (and off). Users are encouraged to complete seasonal mindful tasks and trail walks, contextualised in Te Whanganui-a-Tara.
